I did not understand just how bug this damn city was until we drove in from Connecticut. Every other city we have see has a great sky line but none of them took up an entire 180 degree's of the horizon.

This was actually the station we took into Manhattan. |
Central park was beautiful and in this concrete jungle, it was needed so that people could find a patch of grass to lay in or walk the dogs on. We walked almost the length of the park that first day and I was almost hit by a cab twice by not following the rules of the side walk. We saw Velvedere Castle, some fountain near a lake, a metal sculture of Alice in Wonderland characters and of course lots of people and trees.
That fountain I cant remember the name of! |

It was great seeing you guys. I loved having you stay with us and spending the day in the city together. What an adventure you are on! The scope of it becomes more and more apparent as the pictures and blogs accumulate. We love and miss you!!
